Green Travel Policy

Travel has a direct impact on the environment, particularly through vehicle emissions and fuel consumption. To help minimise each event’s Carbon Footprint we encourage organisers to think about how they travel. If you are travelling by rail, the closest stations to the centre are Didcot Parkway at 17 miles or Hungerford at 10 miles (Didcot has a much more comprehensive and regular service to and from London) - call us for good, reliable local taxi drivers as we can obtain preferential rates - often taxis taken from station taxi ranks are much more expensive. You can also travel to Newbury and Swindon but these stations are a long way from the centre and more epxensive in a taxi.  Train times are available from www.nationalrail.co.uk.

To minimise road miles please car share where possible or book a coach. Free parking is available at the centre.
